Dr. Bryon McQuirt, MD

Dr. Byron McQuirt is a distinguished board-certified physician specializing in adult and forensic psychiatry at Peachtree Wellness Solutions. 

With over 15 years of experience treating individuals with mental health disorders, Dr. McQuirt brings extensive expertise and a patient-centered approach to his practice.

After receiving his medical degree from the Medical University of the Americas, Dr. McQuirt completed both his internship and residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans.

During his residency, he was recognized with the Outstanding Resident in Addiction Psychiatry award. He also received specialized training in trauma assessment through the Victims of Violence program, developing particular expertise in understanding and treating the psychological effects of trauma.

As a firm believer in evidence-based practices, Dr. McQuirt takes a comprehensive approach to mental health treatment. He encourages his patients to incorporate non-pharmacological interventions into their treatment plans, emphasizing the importance of holistic wellness in mental health care.
